Specialized Properties
For those properties that are tax credit or government assisted, we require that our staff is trained in these specific procedures. Semi-annual file audits are performed to ensure that new certifications and re-certifications are being performed correctly and timely and that all files are in compliance.
We provide special assistance in preparing for any REAC, City or Governmental inspections and have great success in this area resulting in keeping your property in good standing.
Fair Housing
Sheila Austin is an approved Fair Housing Facilitator. Do you know how your staff communicates with the public? Do you know if they are abiding by Fair Housing laws? Fair Housing training is essential for every person on staff who comes in contact with the public. Fair Housing violations can result in exorbitant legal fees and/or settlements, loss of licenses and mandated extensive staff training and monitoring.
You can avoid all of these consequences by pro-active training and testing. This training and on-going monitoring is performed specifically by Ms. Austin continuously.
This is one of the most important areas where an owner wants to be pro-active rather than reactive!
